How we evolved our Hi-Fi prototype

We invited some users to do our Lo-Fi prototype testing and got 84 valid questionnaires returned through contextual interviews and a Facebook survey conducted by the Facebook community on the remaining food items of nearly 20,000 people in Taiwan. Base on the above feedback, we revised our lo-fi and corrected it as Hi-Fi prototype.

Food is time-sensitive, and if the user can not find a matchmaker on this platform before the food breaks down, and can not share it with other platforms, what should he do?

We provide the ability to quickly repost food sharing articles to different platforms (send other community platforms when posting text, buttons for messaging software like Instagram, facebook, Instagram, line ...) PS. According to the survey, over 90% of users use mobile phones to post articles

Because we want users to share their stuff in the shortest amount of time, and hope that other community software users can know our service

Hopefully, we would like to launch a review of system, reviewers and those who participate in sharing to avoid default.

We also think the effectiveness and quality of the transactions are issues that deserved our attention. Therefore, we want to add the ability of users to report on the transaction status. Unlike the five-point rating adopted by most online platforms (e.g., Airbnb), our rating system changed "rating" to "description" , to avoid over-simplification of information caused by the evaluation of "points" and to provide a simple feedback for shareholder and participant.

Support other functions after trading

In addition to confirm the sharing, the success or failure can be recorded in the system, group purchase payment can also be debit through QR code, you can continue to share the other features. In our questionnaire, we observed that users may be confused about their mistakes when meet wrong person. Using QRcode to verify their identity will solve this problem.

To help participants find food they want more efficiently, we add the function to search by keyword and food categories. We considered the possible gap between the sharer's keyword set and the food category, thinking that searching by the food category will be more efficient for participants to find sharing information. Maybe the person who wants to get food only wants to find a bowl of noodle soup, he can quickly find what he needs in the categories of cooked noodles, without having to enter a lot of noodle-related words, such as: oolong noodles, prince noodles, winter noodles, pork, hot pot…...etc.

We will design the food category well and add the categories to the home page to provide the choices! :)

I think your focus can be on food, such as the classification of foods, the details, because this is something that other community software can not do. You should focus on your strengths and let your product first come to the mind of users who want to share the food.
Hi-Fi Prototype

Once you have surplus food, you can post sharing information and all kinds of details needed during the transaction on FoodForYou. After a while, people who needs your surplus food, that is the receivers, will participate in your sharing event.

There are may be more than one receivers. Using FoodForYou, you can manage how many receivers there are, and system will create a dedicated communication pipeline for this sharing

After using Facebook account to register and login in the app, go to Personal Info. to set your preference in food and location of transaction, then FoodForYou will recommend the food which fits your needs.

30 minutes before the transaction in person, the receivers will receive notification from system, reminding them to send their clothing information to you.

At the appointed time, once the receivers come to the appointed location around you, you will receive the system notification, prompting you their clothing.

After that, if you are satisfied with this transaction, you can rate receivers in reputation rating system, telling others that he/she is a trustful person!
